Volunteers are ambassadors for the Santa Barbara Zoo and an important part of our team. We seek individuals who are excited about supporting the Zoo’s focus on saving wildlife and inspiring the next generation of conservation heroes.
The primary focus of our volunteers is engaging with Zoo guests by offering assistance and information, facilitating extraordinary experiences, and helping at various special events. No internships are available at the Zoo at this time.
Our program offers opportunities to all volunteers to learn more about conservation and animals, and to make an impact every day through their active role at the Zoo.
