We accommodate daytime and evening events, from elegant weddings or dinner parties to relaxed company picnics. Events by Rincon will assist you with all of your catering and rental needs and offer a variety of options to suit the style of your event. The Santa Barbara Zoo is a private, nonprofit organization. Revenues from private events support the operation and development of the Zoo, help support conservation efforts, and enrich our education programs.
Whether you’re hosting a formal wedding or a casual barbeque, our lush gardens and Pacific Ocean views provide a wonderful backdrop for an unforgettable event. The Zoo is available for private use from 5 – 10 p.m. year-round; however, your group may enter the Zoo as early as 4 p.m. The Zoo also offers options to make any event one to remember, like a train ride or giraffe feeding exclusively for your guests.

From casual company BBQs to formal plated dinners, Events by Rincon’s menus & service styles can be customized to accommodate your event needs. The Santa Barbara Zoo is the perfect place to host a daytime company picnic or family get-together. We have several sites available from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and can accommodate 10 to 300 people.
