Conservation Center At CSUCI

The Santa Barbara Zoo is proud to collaborate with California State University Channel Islands (CSUCI) for the first partnership of its kind in this country, and perhaps the world. By bringing together the experience and resources of both institutions, we will create a model for future conservation learning programs with the first-ever conservation center on the CSUCI campus.

Other plans include opportunities for Zoo staff to advise and mentor CSUCI students, collaborative research opportunities in reproductive biology and conservation education, and more. We are very excited to begin this journey with CSUCI!
